Terms of Service

1. Who we are

ShotStudio ("ShotStudio", "we", "us") is operated by PRIMECODE SOLUTIONS SRL, a company registered in Romania (CUI 50939602, Trade Register No. J2024044285005, EUID ROONRC.J2024044285005), with its registered office at Str. Gramont 38, Sector 4, Bucharest, Romania. You can reach us at primecodesolution@gmail.com.

2. The service

ShotStudio is a web studio for designing App Store and Play Store screenshots. Designing and watermarked previews are free. Paid subscriptions add monthly usage points that power Cloud MCP agent access, additional project slots, and full-resolution, watermark-free production exports. Features may change while the service evolves.

3. Accounts

You can create an account with Google sign-in or an email address and password.
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to it secure.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if higher, to create an account or use the service.

4. Subscriptions and usage points

Purchases are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. Polar is the seller of record, handles payment, VAT/sales tax, invoices and refunds. We never see your card details.
Paid checkout may be unavailable during the private beta. Any current price and taxes are shown before purchase in Polar's hosted checkout.
Each successful monthly payment resets the included allowance to 5,000 points. Included points do not roll over.
Ordinary Cloud MCP tools cost 1 point, previews cost 25, composed screens cost 50, and each production image costs 50 points.
Points are tied to your account and are not transferable or redeemable for cash. ShotStudio does not charge automatic overages.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals; Premium MCP and unlimited-project access continue through the paid period. See the Refund Policy.
If a metered tool or render fails, its reserved points are returned automatically. This is a balance adjustment, not a monetary refund.

4a. MCP trial

Eligible linked accounts may activate one free 72-hour Cloud MCP trial with 250 points. Trial points cannot be used for production exports and do not start a paid subscription. Watermarked editor exports remain available during and after the trial.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the screenshots, images and designs you upload or create.
You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service: storing, processing and rendering your content on our infrastructure, on your instruction.
You must have the rights to any content you upload, and you may not upload content that is unlawful or infringes third-party rights. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these terms or the law.
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from third-party claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your content or your breach of these terms.

5a. AI agents acting on your account

When you authorize an AI agent (via MCP or otherwise) to access your account, everything that agent does within your projects is deemed done by you. You are responsible for reviewing agent output before publishing it and for revoking access you no longer want.

6. Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service: no attempts to circumvent billing, point limits or watermarks; no interference with the infrastructure or other users; no reselling of the service without our written consent; no use in violation of applicable law.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. Features may change or be discontinued. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. We take backups and care, but you are responsible for exporting anything you cannot afford to lose, and we are not liable for loss of data, designs or generated content.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects the mandatory rights EU consumers have under their local law.

9. Termination

You may cancel Premium through the billing portal, stop using the service, and delete your projects at any time. After Premium ends, Cloud MCP and unlimited project creation are disabled and unused included points expire. Existing projects and any separately purchased non-expiring top-up points remain available. We may terminate or suspend accounts for breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature survive termination (content ownership, liability, governing law) survive.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are an EU consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

11. General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service. You may not assign them without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory rights consumers have under applicable law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced in the product.
